When I heard I was going to Camile’s Bistro & Bar, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. Did they pride themselves on the bar atmosphere? What was their dining experience like? How was the food going to inspire my taste buds? Well I can certainly tell you, that Camile’s is the whole package. The attention to décor, the style, the presentation, the unique spin to familiar entrees- overall it was a really great experience. From the initial martini to the last bite of dessert (which by the way WAS FANTASTIC!!)
I was pleasantly welcomed upon arriving at Camile’s like I was a member of the family. It was a beautiful, warm day to dine on the patio but if you wanted a different atmosphere you had other options, you could sit at the bar and watch the Red Sox game or eat at a nice round table with all of your friends and family and still all be a part of the conversation with one another.
Presentation was the name of the game at Camile’s. The martinis were lovely. I enjoyed the Camile’s Sparking Cocktail which featured Prosecco and a beautiful Hibiscus bloom encompassed by an indulgent, red, delicious liqueur. I also savored the Blueberry Love over dinner, stoli blueberry with white cranberry juice, cointreau, champagne and fresh blueberries. The perfect summer beverage, not too sweet and just right! Yum!
I have to say, I am very picky about my burgers, and this one hit the spot. It was definitely the grilled bun that did it for me and the melty cheese. If you want a dinner entree maybe the beef filet is right up your alley. It is served with spring wheat berries and honey sizzled asparagus. But you better leave room for dessert, they will come right to your table and make you ice cream, hand churned with fresh cream and and liquid nitrogen. It’s like being in potions class with Harry Potter and it tastes delicious!
