MRKT restaurant rests in the beautiful rolling hills of South Deerfield, Ma. If you are a person concerned about the foods you eat, you have nothing to worry about at MRKT. Unique recipes created just for his audience, Chef Jimenez will indulge your taste buds with a variety of perfectly blended ingredients, directly from local farms straight to the table. With a variety of appetizer and entrée options, to lighter fares for lunch or seafood and tender beef entrées sure to please the dinner appetite, know that it was all made in house from farm to table. Make sure to save room for their homemade drinks and desserts! If you are a chocolate lover, which God knows I am, I indulged in this amazing Chocolate Budino that had a decadent chocolate pudding nestled cozily inside a dark chocolate homemade torte shell. It was then sprinkled with olive oil, caramel and sea salt.  It was a delicious blend of salty and sweet. 

My favorite dish that I tried at MRKT was the NY Strip with Heirloom Potato, Hakurei Turnip, Dino Kale, and Herbed Butter. The veggies that accompanied it were simply amazing. Tasty and spiced just enough. Soft and not overly soggy. The menu is ever evolving based on the change of the seasons and the trends within the industry. Jimenez is always keeping up with the 5 star cuisines of large-city restaurants to bring exquisite dishes to our small town of South Deerfield. I also really enjoyed their interesting choice of cocktails. From the Classic Cosmopolitan to the Mid-Century Manhattan, all of their drinks are elaborately made right there before your eyes with fresh fruit puree and home made infused vodkas. 

The service and the atmosphere was charming. Chef Jimenez made every dish so wonderfully it was like it was handcrafted just for me. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Try it out for yourself!
